Terms & conditions for having your Railcard delivered to you by post
We will send your plastic Railcard to you by post (or Special Delivery where requested) within one day of your order.
Should you not receive your Railcard within 30 days you must inform us; if you do not inform us, we will assume you have received your Railcard.
If 30 days have passed from your date of purchase you can still request a replacement Railcard, but you will have to pay a £10 replacement fee.
If you purchased your Railcard online, by telephone or by post, you have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which the Railcard is received.
You expressly agree that we may begin supply of any service in connection with the Railcard before the end of the 14-day cancellation period referred to in the previous paragraph. You also acknowledge that your right to cancel this contract, as described in the previous paragraph, will be lost when you first use your Railcard, because at that point you will have made use of Railcard discounts provided to you under this contract.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) using the contact details on this website. You can also download, fill in and submit the model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. If you choose to exercise your right to cancel, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the cancellation by email or post without delay.
To exercise your right to cancel, you need to send notification before the end of the cancellation period. If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payment received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary cost arising if you requested Special Delivery).
Within 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us, you must send back the Railcard to the postal address on this website. The deadline is met if you send back the Railcard before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the Railcard.
We will deduct the full price if you have signed the plastic Railcard.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you the Railcard supplied; or
b) if earlier, 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the Railcard.
We may therefore withhold reimbursement until we have received the Railcard back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the Railcard, whichever is the earliest.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction and you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Please note that, if we reimburse you pursuant to sub-paragraph (b) above but subsequently discover that the Railcard was returned having been signed, you will then be obliged to pay us the full price originally agreed in this contract.
Refunds are not available after the 14-day cancellation period has expired.
