#MakeTracks Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promoter is Rail Delivery Group (company number 3069033) whose registered office is at Rail Delivery Group, 2nd Floor, 200 Aldersgate Street, London, EC1A 4HD.
  2. The entry is open to residents of Great Britain only.
  3. Entrants must be aged 16 or over.
  4. Employees of Rail Delivery Group or any legal entity of the Rail Delivery Group, the family members of such employees and anyone connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
  5. No purchase of goods is necessary to enter the competition.
  6. The ‘#MakeTracks’ competition begins on 4th April 2017 and ends on 5th May 2017.
  7. Closing date for entries will be Friday 5th May 2017 11:59am BST. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  8. The Promoter will not accept any responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason and will not accept proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
  9. Use of a false name, address or social media accounts will result in disqualification.
  10. To enter the competition, entrants must submit a picture of how they MakeTracks using train travel. The term ‘Make Tracks’ refers to anyway in which someone travels around the country using train travel. Competition entry pictures can show you, or a group of friends or family, enjoying a day out in which you used train travel to reach your destination.
  11. If entering via Facebook, entrants must submit a picture in the comments section of a ’#MakeTracks’ competition Facebook post and include #MakeTracks for the entry to be valid. If entering via Twitter, entrants must tweet an image from their own personal Twitter account, using the hashtag #MakeTracks and mention @_Railcards for the entry to be valid. If entering via Instagram, entrants must post an image from their own personal Instagram account and include the hashtag #MakeTracks and mention @national.rail for the entry to be valid.
  12. In total, 5 winners will be selected over the 31 day competition period (4th April 2017 – 5th May 2017)
  13. There will be one winner picked each week at Friday 12pm BST to win 4 pairs of Hunter Wellington Boots.
  14. The weekly winner will be selected from all entries received across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. There will not be one winner per social media network.
  15. The 5 winners will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draws will take place on Friday 7th April, Friday 14th April, Friday 21st April, Friday 28th April and Friday 5th May at 12pm (BST) with the winner being announced at 12:30pm (BST) the same day.
  16. Entrants may only enter once per day per social media network (total number of 3 entries per day). An entrant will only win the competition once even if more than one of their entries is drawn. In this event the Promoter will re-draw and award the prize to an alternative winner.
  17. Competition prizes are supplied by Hunter Boots (http://www.hunterboots.com/)
  18. The prizes available are up to 4 pairs of Hunter Wellington Boots.
  19. The prizes must be dispatched to a Great Britain postal address. The prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
  20. The prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
  21. The winners will be contacted by The Promoter (Rail Delivery Group) by replying to the entrant’s social media post on the social media channel on which they entered the competition, and asked to direct message The Promoter on the social media channel in which they entered within 5 working days.
  22. The winner will be required to provide full name, email address, contact telephone number and postal address.
  23. The winner will be contacted by email and phone by Hunters Boots in order to arrange delivery of their prize.
  24. The prize will be dispatched within 28 days of receiving confirmation of delivery address. If you are a winner, The Promoter, or iProspect (a trading division of Dentsu Aegis UK Limited - http://www.iprospect.com/en/gb/) on our behalf, will contact you via the messaging system native to that social media platform – please ensure your privacy settings are configured to allow us and iProspect to contact you in this way.
  25. The winners’ contact details will be passed between iProspect, The Promoter and Hunter Boots for prize fulfilment purposes.
  26. If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 working days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick an alternative winner.
  27. By entering this competition an entrant is indicating their agreement that their images submitted as part of this competition can be used for marketing purposes including, but not limited to, paid social media advertising activity by The Promoter.
  28. In the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of this promotion or cancel or amend the promotion at any time but will always endeavour to minimise the effect on participants to avoid undue disappointment.
  29. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter
  30. The Promoter may require you to prove that you are eligible to enter the competition and claim the prize.
  31. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
  32. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  33. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  34. This promotion is no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social network.
