If your physical Railcard has been lost or damaged, you can apply for a replacement.

You can only request a replacement 10 days or more after the original purchase date.

Any journeys made without your Railcard must be paid for at the full fare, and any discount lost during this time is not refundable.

Lost your Railcard?

  • If you bought your physical Railcard online, you will need to sign in to your Railcard account and follow the instructions to order a replacement online.

  • If you bought your physical Railcard at a station, you will need to go to any staffed station where you must give the completed "receipt" portion of your original application form to staff. We will not be able to issue any replacements for loss if you do not have the stamped receipt.

A £10 administrative fee applies to lost or damaged Railcards, except for the Disabled Persons Railcard where the fee is £5 to replace a 1-year Railcard and £10 to replace a 3-year Railcard.

Had your Railcard stolen?

If you’ve reported your physical Railcard as stolen and have a crime reference number or documents issued by the Police, your replacement is free.

  • If you bought your stolen physical Railcard online, you will need to sign in to your Railcard account and follow the instructions to order a replacement online, quoting your crime reference number.

  • If you bought your stolen physical Railcard at a station you will need to go to any staffed station with your crime reference number/documentation and some form of identification.
